The reality

An athlete's career extends far beyond sporting performance.

It involves contractual, financial and strategic decisions that can have a lasting impact on their future. Yet, the legal support available to athletes remains too often fragmented, reactive or insufficiently tailored to the realities of a professional sporting career.

01

Family members

However supportive they may be, they quickly reach the limits of what they can provide when faced with complex legal matters.

02

Agents

While playing an essential role, they are not intended to provide independent legal advice.

03

General practice lawyers

They do not always possess the specialist knowledge required to navigate the legal and regulatory complexities of the sports industry.

The result: support that is fragmented, reactive, ill-suited.

NMN LEGAL

A different approach.

Independent, specialist legal support, fully integrated into the athlete's professional ecosystem and designed to work collaboratively with agents, families and other trusted advisors. Our mission is to support professional athletes throughout their careers by providing both proactive and responsive legal advice, enabling them to navigate the legal challenges directly arising from their profession with confidence.

01

Independent

No mandates for clubs or governing bodies. Advice free from any conflict of interest.

02

Specialist

Expertise devoted exclusively to sports law and to the realities of a professional career.

03

Integrated

We work with the agent, the family and existing advisors, complementing their role rather than replacing it.

Expertise

Our areas of expertise.

Seven areas in which we act, from prevention to dispute resolution.

01

Employment contracts

Negotiation, drafting and execution: remuneration, duration, bonuses, termination clauses.

02

Sponsorship agreements

Framing brand commitments, exclusivities and the athlete's obligations.

03

Representation agreements

Securing the mandate given to the agent: duration, commission, scope, exit.

04

Image rights

Protecting and enhancing the athlete's image, individually and collectively.

05

Contractual disputes

Preventing, negotiating and, where necessary, defending before the competent bodies.

06

Athlete–agent relationship

Structuring a clear, transparent relationship that complies with the regulations.

07

Disciplinary & regulatory matters

Supporting the athlete through proceedings before federations and sports bodies.
